My Thoughts The eyeliner stencils comes in a cardboard packaging and includes 6 different stencil pieces for creating different liner looks. The packaging is quite compact and I love it. You can keep each stencil at its particular place so no fear of losing them. It also comes with a manual guide carrying some tips and tricks to use.
The stencils are made on soft plastic sheet with smooth edges and all the cuts are truly precise. They fit just right on my eyes. So I have not faced any size issue yet. But if your eyes are too big or too small or just don’t fit the stencils, you could still use them as a general guide on where to place the color rather than to accomplish the whole look perfectly.
Using eyeliner stencil is quite simple. Just place the stencils on top of the eye slightly above the lash line and adjust according to the eye shape/size. This could be quite tricky and all you need a little practice and patience. It will took a little time to get perfect adjustment. Then fill in the space by jel-liner using an old sponge or you can fill in black eye-shadow with a brush (which ever you prefer). Make sure not to go outside the area of the stencil. Remove the stencil. Use jel liner and layer it on the top of the eyeliner pattern drawn with the help of stencil to make it look intense. You can also use kohl pencil if you like matte flicks. You can shape the eyeliner and neat its edges according to your liking. Clean the stencil and start using it on the second eye. These stencils are super easy to clean with a cotton ball dipped in water or eye makeup remover. Cleaning it well is very important as you don’t want something that unclean anywhere near your eyes.
I have created some eye looks using these stencils and this was my first attempt. These stencils have proved to be a life saver for me. It gives a basic frame of the eyeliner to me and while tracing the shape. I think I can do more better with little more practice and could be more creative by changing the shape and size according to my liking.
Overall, these eyeliner stencils can be used to learn different techniques of eyeliner application. It saves a lot of time and gives professional results and Once, you mastered it (and that’s quick to do with the help of the stencils), you can just stop using the stencils altogether as they won’t be necessary anymore.
