SLEEK MAKEUP BLUSH IN 'ROSE GOLD' - REVIEW & SWATCHES

I’ve been a bit blush obsessed lately, and so that obsession has led me to buy this blush. Now its time to share my thoughts on it......

Sleek MakeUP Blush – Rose Gold
A highly pigmented blusher to brighten and define cheekbones. The silky-fine formulation provides long lasting blusher which helps to create a subtle but radiant cheek area.
Apply using a small powder/blusher brush, by swirling the brush over the surface of the blusher. Tap off excess powder and apply onto the apples of the cheeks to emphasis your cheeks and your smile, or just below the cheek bone to create a sculpted look. 8 g.

My Thoughts
Generally speaking the packaging of all Sleek MakeUp Blushes is nothing to write whom about. It feels pretty high end i.e. having a silky, smooth, sleek black compact plastic casing with a built-in mirror too making it extremely travel-friendly.

Now coming to the shade of Rose Gold which is a beautiful peachy pink shade with golden shimmer. The shade itself  is gorgeous which i think suits most in between NC20 and NC35, the coral pink shade won't show up if you have deeper skin tone, only shimmer might appear on you. The shimmer in this blush is not really chunky or glittery, but it is finely milled, making its texture, silky soft and buttery smooth. As the blush is amazingly pigmented, so when applied on cheeks with a light hand, the shimmer isn’t actually very noticeable. It only highlights cheeks which imparts a healthy glow and looks flattering. However too much of the blush may accentuate your pores due to obvious shimmer. About staying power?? It can be wore well for 3-4 hours before fading.

In the past Rose Gold was hailed as being a dupe for NARS Orgasm blush. Is it really a close dupe of NARS Orgasm???  I really cannot comment on that, as I don’t own a NARS blush to do a comparative swatching.

Overall I think Rose Gold is incredibly good and is my absolute favorite go-to blusher for a night time/party makeups also as a day time wearer but with a light hand ;)
